Cláudia Franco
Claudia Franco is a portuguese jazz singer, composer and educator, she has been actively performing as a lead and guest vocalist since 2001. She attended the Conservatory of Arts in Leiria for Vocal and Piano studies before enrolling at the Luiz Villas-Boas Jazz School. She earned her Vocal Jazz degree from the Lisbon Superior School of Music and pursued a Master's degree in Vocal Jazz at the Superior School of Music and Performing Arts in Porto. Additionally, she completed a vocal pedagogy course "Mirna Rubim Method," led by the renowned Brazilian teacher, singer, and actress.
Throughout her educational journey and professional career, Claudia has had the privilege of studying under esteemed mentors such as Paula Oliveira, Maria João, Afonso Pais, Lúcia Lemos, Michele Weir, Luciana Souza, João Paulo Esteves da Silva, Maria Mendes, among others.
Claudia Franco has released albums under her name, including "Soul Dance" and "E o mar o céu prolongava" in collaboration with Filipe Duarte.
Since 2007, Claudia Franco has been sharing her expertise by teaching vocal technique, improvisation, music theory, piano, and ear training. With a wealth of experience and knowledge acquired throughout her career, she embarked on her journey of instructing others in these disciplines.
In 2022, Claudia took her teaching to a global audience by officially launching her online classes, catering to students internationally. These classes, offered in both individual and group formats, provide a unique opportunity for aspiring singers and musicians worldwide to benefit from Claudia's guidance and instruction.
